FA TROPHY : NOV 10TH Away to Bromley - I always enjoy a visit to Bromley as I know a fair few of their fans who all support the same cricket team as me so a drink or two is enjoyed before and after the game in many of the public houses to choose from so I suppose or luckily a draw is the best option for all - then we can win the replay of course tomorrow night. There are brief highlights on the website so you can see we may have been a bit lucky on not conceding a penalty but can enjoy our wonder strike from Louis-Rae...Perhaps with the referee falling over may count as an assist for our goal !.......I think he may have been watching that bloke who plays for Liverpool..(sorry Goran S).

The draw has just been made and the winners of tomorrow's replay host fellow Blue Square South opponents Boreham Wood. On Wednesday our youth team travel to league side Bristol Rovers FC in the FA youth cup 2nd round - (winners away to Oldham or Coventry) so I am looking forward to watch that. I should not really expect anything there but who knows.

This Saturday we visit Farnborough. On Saturday Farnborough hosted Truro in the FA trophy and one of the floodlights failed and there was a dark corner but both managers agreed for the tie to be continued - needless to say Farnborough scored an "offside goal"  - from the dark position not to Truro's amusement!

So my next article hopefully the first and youth teams will have progressed to the next stage of their respective cup competitions and we have picked up three points at Farnborough - so no pressure then on the club ! ......
